St Kilda Gatehouse is a safe place of belonging, connection, and respect for our community’s most marginalized and disadvantaged women involved in street based sex work and young women and girls affected by sexual exploitation. For those who seek our support and care, St Kilda Gatehouse is a source of dignity, connection, empowerment, and hope.

This creative project is made possible in collaboration with LCI Melbourne and by the talent and generosity of photographer Dean Golja and artist Justine Roche who both have a passion for challenging stereotypes and shaping the world through art. Together they have created and curated this beautiful and perhaps confronting collection of photos that will draw you into the lives of the women and girls we support at St Kilda Gatehouse.
